When we do a fundraiser, it is to raise funds for Blue Star, not for a specific hospital or community.  If we are doing a fundraiser in a specific city, it is likely we have already donated instruments to the local Children’s Hospital.

So we Pay it Forward to the next community on the list.  We normally have the local hospital music therapists or child life coordinators join us at the event, but we do not solicit the Hospital to be a co-sponsor of the event.  This keeps it simple and gives us the ability to reach out to any child or community at any time a need is presented to us.
