John Carey is a 14 year old boy with Hodgkins disease who is currently admitted for a bone marrow transplant. He lives in Colorado Springs with his parents and two siblings. He is a very active, outgoing, and bright boy. His father is a professor but also plays the piano “very well”. Since John enjoys music, he got a drum set from Make a Wish, he thought his father could teach him the keyboard while in the hospital and during recovery.
